  • Journal of Marine Technology and Environment
    Vol. 1 No. 19 (2026)

Volume 1, 2026 of the Journal of Marine Technology and Environment reflects the journal’s multidisciplinary approach to current challenges in marine engineering, maritime technology, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

The issue opens with a contribution marking 18 years of JMTE, highlighting the journal’s development and continuity since its foundation in 2008. The scientific papers address a diverse range of topics, including rudder-based control for reducing parametric rolling, greener operation of naval vessels under climate-change scenarios, cavitation erosion of marine propellers, energy, exergy and thermoeconomic assessment of marine refrigeration systems, innovative wind and photovoltaic technologies, shipboard fuel-consumption optimisation, marine diesel engine operating modes and thermal performance. The volume therefore brings together theoretical, numerical and applied perspectives relevant to the development of safer, more efficient and more sustainable maritime technologies.

With this issue, the Journal of Marine Technology and Environment implements its new OJS-based editorial workflow, supporting a fully digitalised and structured process from manuscript submission and peer review to editorial management and final publication.

Previous issues of the Journal of Marine Technology and Environment published before the transition to the OJS platform are available in the journal’s Historical Archive
