Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the official JMTE article template.

Authors retain copyright over their work and grant the Journal of Marine Technology and Environment (JMTE) the right of first publication.
Articles accepted for publication are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) Licence, which permits others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and to the original publication in JMTE, and that any changes are indicated.
By submitting a manuscript to JMTE, the author(s) confirm that the work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, except where clearly disclosed to the editors. The author(s) are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material included in the manuscript.
Authors may enter into additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work, provided that its initial publication in JMTE is acknowledged.

The Journal of Marine Technology and Environment (JMTE) respects the privacy of its users and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal information provided through this journal website, including names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID identifiers and other information supplied during registration, manuscript submission, peer review or editorial activities, is collected and used solely for the purposes of managing the journal’s editorial and publishing processes, communicating with authors, reviewers and editors, and maintaining the scholarly record.
Personal data will not be used for unrelated commercial purposes or disclosed to third parties except where necessary for the operation, publication, indexing, preservation or legal obligations of the journal.
Users may request access to, correction of or, where applicable, deletion or restriction of the processing of their personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and for maintaining the integrity of the journal’s editorial and publication records.
