About the Journal
Journal of Marine Technology and Environment (JMTE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal providing a platform for the dissemination of research and professional knowledge in marine science, engineering, environmental protection and maritime technologies.
The journal promotes interdisciplinary research addressing the technological, environmental and operational challenges of the maritime sector, with particular attention to the sustainable use of marine resources and the development of a competitive, safe and environmentally responsible maritime industry.
JMTE welcomes original research articles, review papers and scientific communications presenting theoretical, experimental and applied research. Authors are encouraged to provide sufficient methodological and experimental detail to support transparency, reproducibility and further scientific development. Where appropriate, supplementary datasets, software, calculation files or other supporting materials may accompany the published article.
The journal is published twice a year, in April and October.

Open Access and Publication Fees
JMTE is a fully open access journal. All published articles are freely and permanently available online without subscription or access charges.
A publication fee of EUR 30 per article is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Material published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence may be reused for non-commercial purposes in accordance with the terms of the licence and with appropriate acknowledgement of the original source.
